About Voter Protection Plan
Voting information should be easy to find and use.
A practical guide to voting
Voter Protection Plan turns official election information into a step-by-step plan for your area and voting method. It is free, independent, and nonpartisan. We don’t recommend candidates, parties, or ballot positions.
We are not an election office. Your election office handles registration, ballots, and questions about your circumstances.
Growing our coverage
We started in Montgomery County, Ohio, and are working to add more areas. Check available plans to see whether yours is covered.
We review voting information before adding each area. Plans link to official tools for your registration, ballot, and polling place.
How we earn your trust
The project owner approves content and handles corrections. Read how we check information and how we protect your privacy.
No sign-up or payment is needed. Optional project support helps cover hosting and data costs.
